Fully Funded Africa Centre for Energy Policy Next Generation Resource Governance Leaders Programme for Africans in Ghana.* The Next Generation Resource Governance Leaders Program is a three-month internship that intends to balance a dose of theory with real-world application and equip participants with the requisite multi-disciplinary intellectual development, practical skills, and research abilities to think in more innovative ways to solve complex governance challenges. NVIDIA Graduate 2024 Fellowship Programme For International PhD Students* This is the twenty-third year that NVIDIA has invited PhD students to submit their research projects for consideration. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements, professor nomination, and area of research. We have found this program to be a great way to support academia in its pursuit of cutting edge innovation, as well as an ideal avenue to introduce NVIDIA to the future leaders of our industry.* NVIDIA has long believed that investing in university talent is beneficial to the industry and key to our continued growth and success. The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program provides funding in the amount of up to $60,000 per award to PhD students who are researching topics that will lead to major advances in accelerated computing and its applications. Social Enterprise World Forum Communications Internship Programme 2023* The Communications Intern is a role in SEWF’s small but expanding team. The position is an opportunity for the applicant to gain communications and events experience within a global organisation, while also contributing towards the growth of the global social enterprise movement.* The ideal candidate should have a passion for amplifying SEWF’s impact and legacy. 4. MTN ICT and Business Skills 2023 Training (N90 Million Grant for 300 Participants)* MTN ICT and Business Skills Training is a Youth Development initiative aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs between 18 and 35 years with tech enabled skills to keep their small businesses relevant and competitive.* The training will be delivered through a 5-week online programme which includes Masterclasses from key industry experts.* Participants will be given data for the duration of the programme to support a seamless learning experience. Not only that, the top 300 participants will be supported with an Equipment Grant worth N90,000,000! Yes, you read that right.* In partnership with some of our ecosystem partners – Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Google, Meta, and Microsoft, 5 Phases of the ICT and Business Skills Training have been implemented in 16 states since 2018.* They are Abia, Adamawa, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Borno, Cross River, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Oyo and Rivers. So far 4,036 young people have completed this programme.* Benefits:* In this 6th phase, 3000 youths will participate in the ICT and Business Skills Training to be implemented in partnership with Microsoft and Meta. In Nigeria, its impacts have led to severe cases of drought, desertification, flooding, and disruption in rainfall patterns. These impacts adversely affect man’s health, wellbeing and environment. Agricultural yields have been heavily affected causing high poverty rate in the north. Extreme flooding, disease spread through contaminated water is reported in the south. It is in recognition of this that the Climate Smart Nigeria in partnership with Glow initiative for Economic Empowerment with support from Access Bank PLC is investing into a new generation of young energy leaders to lead change for energy transition vis-a-vis climate action across Nigeria.* The Climate Leadership Fellowship (Special edition for Energy Leaders) is designed to provide expert training fellows who are within or are passionate and willing to make a difference in clean cooking, clean energy, solar power, waste to energy sectors on concept and applications of renewable energy for a better climate.* After training, all fellows will then Adopt a School where they will teach climate change and renewable energy helping to groom young ones who will promote a climate resilient nation.
